Crexendo 300 Internet Phone Features

Menu
The menu button provides access to additional phone features.  Pressing the menu button and using the arrow keys displays additional headings which will provide information about the phone or allow set-up for additional features.  See the specific topic for instructions.

Hold
The Hold button allows the call to be placed in a waiting state.  Once the Hold button is pressed the caller will hear music until you press the Hold button again.

Conferencing This feature allows you and up to two other parties to share a phone conversation.

To make a Conference
Dial the phone number for the first party > when the call is answered press the Conference button > you will hear a dial tone and can now dial the phone number for the additional party(s) > when the call is answered press the Conference button again > all three parties will now be joined > hang up the handset to end the Conference call.

Tran
Transferring a call will let you send your current call to another extension or phone number.  The transfer can be either a warm transfer--meaning you can speak to the party you are transferring the call to before the transfer, or a blind transfer--transferring the call without speaking to the party receiving the call.

To Blind Transfer a call:
Press the Transfer button.  Your active call will be placed on hold.  Then dial the extension or the phone number of the person you wish to transfer the call to.  Once you hear the line ringing hang up the handset and the call will be transferred.

To Warm Transfer a call:
Press the Transfer button.  Your active call will be placed on hold.  Then dial the extension or the phone number of the person you want to transfer the call to.  When the call is answered you may speak with the called party in private prior to transferring the call.  Hanging up the handset will complete the transfer.

RD - Redial
Pressing the RD button tells the phone to automatically dial the last phone number that you dialed.

To call the last number dialed
Press the button marked ‘RD’ on the right side of your phone.  The phone number to be called will appear in the display.  Picking up the handset will automatically dial the number or you can press OK to auto-dial the number while on the speaker phone.

Speaker Phone
Your Crexendo 200 Internet Phone (SIP-200) includes a speaker phone.

To operate the Speaker Phone
Leaving the handset in the cradle and dialing a number will automatically enable the speaker phone.  If you wish to prevent your caller from hearing a conversation or noise on your side of the conversation you can press the Mute key (this is the button with the “x” and a picture of a microphone with a slash through it below the button.)  The display will also show a microphone with a slash through it while Mute is enabled.  To begin speaking with the caller press the Mute key again.  To switch to the handset during a speaker phone call just pick up the handset.
If you are on the handset and wish to move the call to the speaker phone, press the button on the right side of the phone with a picture of a speaker.  You can then place the handset in the cradle without having the call disconnected.
